Site update -- 2007-03-09 12:02:12I have updated the site a little bit. Some pages were removed, the menu was reordered and the pictures that used to be rendered are now cached.
Server upgrade -- 2006-01-30 15:58:58
I have upgraded the webserver software to version 2 of the Apache Webserver, which adds some extra connectivity options. I have also added the possibility to connect using an SSL-encrypted connection and made a few adjustments to the site.
The SSL certificate is self-signed, though, so you'll have to install it if you want to get rid of the warning.

I installed a new server yesterday and all worked out fine. I am still migrating most of the stuff from the old server but the most important things are on here already.
The new server specs and status can be seen on the 'Powered by' and 'Status'-pages.

I have FINISHED the basic parts of my comment system, now every registered user can add a comment or quote someone... I have not yet implemented edit/delete and profiles, those will be done soon.

I have added a user tracker and member section to the site. Currently you can only register, login or logout, I am working on more features.

I have upgraded the server to a new kernel, 2.6.3-10mdk. This solves some security and speed issues. Total downtime: 3 minutes
Also I will make a status messages page when I fix the rest of the website. As I have been busy lately I was unable to fix all within the week I told in the last post. I will have a whole week off in 3 days, so then I will have some time to fix it. You can expect to see additions to the site in that week.

I have been busy lately, I am putting more website maintenance on my to-do list now... I will finish the file upload stuff and upload as many projects as possible, hopefully within a week.

The site is finally done! It has been checked by 2 native english people, and they both told me it's good, so it's time to make it public...
